My Lilacs are Coming!

This is a transplant last summer from my Mom’s house to our place…
Why, yes, it as 38 degrees outside this morning when I took the shot before Phoebe boarded her schoolbus for the day!

Yesterday, my car wouldn’t start to take Alex to her last softball game. Later in the evening when we got back, Ray discovered the reason the car wouldn’t start:
These are all six of my spark plug wires.
All six.
Edited to add: Ray filed a police report because the more it was thought about and the more Ray looked at them, he believes they were cut. Why? Haven’t a clue. It was a lot of effort for someone to do it, but it is just too coincidental that all six “broke” at the same point in the same way at the same time. I will have new wires installed this evening, but still…

This is what happens when I don’t take my camera, it’s hot out, you spend four hours at the mall (with some of that being intense play at the children’s play area) and when you are moments away from your destination: Phoebe falls asleep! Not just any dozing…she was completely zonked out. It happened just as we pulled into the gas station around the corner from softball practice yesterday. Awwww…
