Kini's Place

It was nineteen years ago today that Ray and I got married.

Happy Anniversary, Darling. I love you.

Saturday was supposed to be spent on the beach. We did spent a significant amount of time at the beach (two or three different ones in fact), but it was incredibly foggy, windy and chilly with fog horns tolling continuously.

Phoebe did not care though, all that mattered was being at the beach–even the frigid waters of the Pacific Ocean!!!

Alex seemed to enjoy the beach as well. She played with Phoebe a lot which was wonderful to behold!! They collected rocks, shells and sand dollars. They jumped over waves. They even played frisbee a bit (the wind made it harder for Phoebe whose frisbee toss needs perfecting)!

Sun would have been nice (since we did come away with sunburns…or perhaps windburn?), but warmth would have been even better. We had a nice time which is really the best thing!

It’s been far too long since my friend “the camping tent” has graced our world. In fact, I think the last time may have been our trip to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes which was two years ago this September!!!
