Happy Memorial Day!

Thank you to everyone who has served our country to enable us to enjoy the freedoms and liberties that we do. Thank you!!!

Today was rather uneventful for us. The girls played video games together while Ray attempted (successfully!) to clean my ancient MacBook Pro of the smoothie a certain child bathed it in.

I want to wish my little niece, Emily, a very happy birthday!!

Oh, and there are eleven school days left for this year. Also, about six (perhaps seven) days until we have ~drumroll~ VISITORS!!!!!

Some of the high schools got together this evening and put on a “Japanese Expo.” It was pretty neat. Alex had been there the entire time, but Phoebe and I didn’t show up until near the end. Had I known about it, we would have come earlier. There was a variety of foods available for sampling (all gone by the time we were there), displays about nearly anything you might wonder about, performances (we saw a really cool drum performance).

The girls both caught goldfish with little “nets” that would break once taken out of the water which required a little bit of skill.
