Things Before 40

It looks like I have been swept up in another bought of making numerical lists! (the list is a work in progress) These are the things that I would like to do before I turn 40 (in 2011):

  1. Get a haircut that I love. Maybe several.
  2. Get a puppy.
  3. Paint my bathroom.
  4. Lose weight. (A lot of weight.)
  5. Find shoes that comfort my feet (both of them). [TEVA & Columbia Sportwear makes some AWESOME shoes that are totally comfy to me! 09/19/08]
  6. Read 100 books. Or more. (Not preschool/toddler books. Adult-ish books.)
  7. Finally part with Grandma’s green couch. [UPDATED: Moved it out of the house on 03/22/07.]
  8. Remove the Christmas lights from the fence (the broken ones from the previous owners).
  9. Organize and de-clutter my house.
  10. Finish quilting my hand-made quilt.
  11. Start and finish another one.
  12. Start remodeling the kitchen.
  13. Finish remodeling the kitchen.
  14. Get a new mailbox (and get it put in).
  15. Generate income.
  16. Get a camper. And use it. A lot.
  17. Visit a state out west. Montana? Washington? Alaska? Colorado? [Visited family in Colorado - April 2009]
  18. Go to Disney World. And take both kids.
  19. Get Photoshop (and the portrait plugin). An awesome current version.
  20. Be able to run again. (The foot thing, again.) 5K seems like a reasonable goal.
  21. Finish the patio.
  22. Go to a fancy dress up event (after completing #4).
  23. Entertain at home other than the kids birthdays.
  24. Get a place up north (vacant land, land with a cabin, whatever) near the orv trails.

      • The sun is shining this morning and despite the wind its really nice out. No one missed the bus. Hoping for a happier day. #

      • This has already been a very long week. #
      • Wow! First graders in a bus are LOUD! #
      • Heading back to the school now. The weather is gorgeous out! #
      • Home from the field trip duties and now am about to take the lawn tractor for a "joy" ride. #
      • Despite all the sunscreen reapplied several times, my little one still got sunburned very much yesterday! :( #
      • All sorts of sounds outside. The rain, dripping, frogs, other things I can't identify...Nice way to go to sleep...pleasant slumbers to all! #
      • Really wishing I had a little more help. #
      • ...so hot... ugh. #
      • The mosquitoes are atrocious this morning!!!!!! #
      • Bordine's is a pretty neat place to be in during a thunderstorm. :D #
