Every Good Thing Must End, I Guess.
Yesterday had started as my typical Thursday-school day-type day. Alex missed the bus; Phoebe did not.
After school was typical of late as well. Alex had after school theater rehearsal, followed by her musical theatre class. (I wish everyone would use the same spelling version as well!)
A quick dinner and Alex had vocal rehearsals for the community theatre. I dropped her off; Ray was to pick her up (don’t worry, that part was fine).
After dropping off Alex, I headed to the Mexican restaurant to meet up with some of my gal pals. A bit of dinner and some Rolls Royce Margaritas along with chatting and lots of laughter and everything was golden.
After my fabulous time with my friends I went home. One lady’s son has an ear infection, so she was anticipating a whiny, not-feeling-well child when she got home.
I did not expect to be home for about twenty minutes, for Phoebe to follow me into the kitchen, say that her tummy felt funny then proceed to vomit on the kitchen floor. Fortunately, there was something handy to catch it and minimize the amount of clean up.
That began the ALL.NIGHT.LONG.VOMITING that Phoebe went through. It was a very, VERY long night that I have since termed: PukeFest 2010. It probably won’t be the only one of the year, but it is the first one. No school for her today, at least it is Friday… Poor girl. I hope she doesn’t share this virus (one that is spreading like wildfire at her school). (I am not going to think that this is the price for having gone out for a few hours. Nope, I’m not.)

Sleep, sweetie, sleep. Feel better.

[...] Phoebe was sick last week with a stomach virus that included a lot of vomiting. I do mean A LOT. As well as OFTEN. (Read about it here.) [...]
