Kini's Place

This morning I met up with some of my playgroup friends and had coffee with them. Well, I had coffee, some of them did not. Some brought kids, some did not. I did not since both of mine were in school. It was kind of nice. No arguments over anything.

In the afternoon, I went to Phoebe’s school to help out with her class Valentine’s party. I have to say that it was kind of lame. As it turned out, they had done most of the Valentine activities through out the day (like passing out the Valentines!). The only thing that happened while the official party was going on was that they had ice cream sundaes and finished (yes, finished…as in the last 5 minutes) of the Charlie Brown Valentine video.

The parent-teacher group meeting was canceled and Phoebe decided that she did not want to attend an activity at her school which opened up our late afternoon/evening immensely!

Alex hobbled through school wearing the ankle brace (still no bruising!), attended the high school play rehearsal (did the sound this day) and then went to her musical theatre class.

What started out as a jam packed day ended up being not so bad. Not quite dull, but way less busy.
