Today is “Groundhog Day.” In other words, it’s Tuesday with some weird ritualistic hoopla that apparently goes along with the date of February 2nd.

I heard that the groundhogs have predicted six more weeks of winter. Really? Oh, please…as if we really believed that spring would be early. Are we really that lucky?

I had thought about trying to find some cute little groundhog clip art to post up here, but then decided that I’d post a photo from our very own resident groundhog:

No, I’m not a fan of the groundhog…and, yes, he (she? I really don’t know…) lives in the tunnels it has constructed that run under our barn. Yay. I do, however, LOVE the green roughage. If you’d like to see a few more, I had originally posted this July 7, 2008 here.

The other big news (really the ONLY big news) for us is that today is “Actor Roundup” day for The Music Man! Alex has tap class this afternoon first, then (hopefully) a quick bite to eat at home before heading up for the meeting.
