Yes! We got a Wii for Christmas this year. It was the “big family gift” for everyone here.
I didn’t get my own personal first taste of it until last night when Phoebe wanted a break for one frame of Wii Bowling. I had fun, but she wanted it back. A little while later, I played a few games with Alex while Phoebe was playing with her new Polly Pockets inside her Princess Screenhouse.
While I was cleaning up the kitchen, Alex did the Wii Fitness Test and was not happy in the slightest that she scored a Wii Age of 74!!! I figured that if she got 74, I should expect it to rate me at 200 or something!
This afternoon, Ray did his and got a Wii Age of 52. Mine turned out to be 65 (can I retire now?). Alex did her second one and scored 33 and was so much happier. (In case you didn’t know, the system will only let you do the test once per day.)
The Wii is FUN! So much more than sitting still playing our PS2 (or computer or online games)!
