Today was compellingly exciting!

Not really.

Alex had a friend spend the night last night so they slothed around like bums all day. I did kick them outside, but they practically scratched at the door to come back in like dogs that don’t like to be in the rain! You know, or something like that.

Phoebe and I went errand running this morning. First, we dropped off movies to the movie rental place, then went to the pool store to get shock, then went to the grocery store. When we were pushing the shopping cart to the car in the parking lot, Phoebe said, “I thought you said this would be fun! It as like totally not fun Mom!” complete with hands on hips and the head bob. (Yes, those were seriously her exact words!) So I promised her that next time would definitely be fun.

Oh, and we have 29 days before school starts back up on September 2nd! Where has summer gone?
