Another terribly exciting day at our house. We spent a lot of time outside again. This time we loaded up the fire pit and set it going. Later, we went through our northwestern woods and did a lot of tree trimming. Alex bailed on us and went to her friend’s house for one last summer [...]

Today we did a few things. First, we took Ray’s truck in to get new tires. His are WAY overdue for new ones, especially since one blew out on the highway on him yesterday! When we got back to the house, Ray started cutting metal fencing down to use as reinforcements in our patio slab. [...]

On his way to work this morning, one of the tires on Ray’s truck blew out. Badly. On the highway. Sucky. On the upside, Ray, Phoebe and I ate dinner on the patio overlooking tomorrow’s project site.
