Both of my girls like to draw. We have all sorts of supplies for this endeavor: papers (of all sorts), artist pencils, watercolor pencils, colored pencils, markers, crayons, pastels (chalk and oil), and much more.

Have you ever seen one of these?

They are little manikins to aid in drawing people. We have two. A large one and a teeny, tiny one.

Phoebe recently used the large one to make this drawing:

She says it is a drawing of her Daddy! (Notice the beard?)

Not one to be outdone, especially by her not-quite-five-year-old sister, Alex whipped this drawing off:

Which is a few sketches of the manikin doing various things, and not tailored to any person. This time.

I think they are both pretty awesome!
