After a week or so of some phenomenally nice weather, we are visiting the low 30s tonight and only striving for the low 40s for a high tomorrow!

Where did the nice, warm, sunny weather go?

It wasn’t too bad most of the day today, but at Phoebe’s soccer game? I nearly froze! It was about 50 degrees, dark clouds, and had sprinkled a bit before the game. Oh! And the wind!!!! The truly sucky thing about outdoor sports that take place on nice, wide, open fields: it really lets the wind kick up. A lot.

I think all of the kids on her team showed up tonight, which is ten, I think. So, she only played in two quarters (first and third). She’s playing peewee soccer on this odd four-square divided field with only five players at a time (including the goalie).

Still, I took a ton of photos. Sometime when my fingers thaw, I’ll download them off my camera, through the computer and onto my photo library hard drive (yes, my photos have a drive all their own). I know there are a couple I want to share, but it’ll have to wait until then.

So, for now, I’m going to put on the flannel and the fleece, crawl into bed, and try and get some sleep. I’ll be dreaming of nicer weather…gardening weather…camping weather…playing outside weather. And, hopefully, not having nightmares of blizzards in April and May.
