So, Alex and her teammates spent all day at the university for this year’s Science Olympiad state competition. I’m not sure how her team finished as a whole, but in her three events she took a 21st and two 40th place finishes. Probably not as well as she had hoped, but it was still competition and these were not the same events she had practiced (and competed) for in the regionals.

For her first year in this, it went well. She had a lot of fun, learned a bunch of new things, and knows that without a doubt she wants to do it again next year.
