Earth Hour 2008 is rapidly approaching. It is this weekend, Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 8 pm to 9 pm.

I mentioned it in a post a little while back, Earth Hour 2008, in case you missed it. Basically, it is one hour of the day in which people in cities around the world will all be turning off their lights for one hour in the fight against global warming.

Do you have candles at the ready? A nice, candlelit romantic dinner might be nice. Playing camp out with the kids in the living room with flashlights and ghost stories might be fun. Going outside and doing some star gazing would be wonderful (if it weren’t a 30 degree, cloudy mud fest I mean).

Are you participating? How do you plan to spend your hour in the dark? Me? I might be inclined to pull up the covers and take a nap! Though, I doubt I could convince the kids to do the same…
