Sunday was a busy day. At least for me. At least it felt that way.

I had to get up “early” today. I went to a baby shower for my brother-in-law’s sister and her husband. They are both really nice and friendly people. Anyhow, I left my house, with everyone still in bed close to 10 am. I drove out to my Mom’s house, picked her up and we proceeded to the shower from there. We had a lovely time. The food was extravagant. Extravagent  in quantity, quality, and variety!!! It was amazing, but that wasn’t the point of going. The shower was held at the restaurant at one of the Hyatt Regency hotels. A swank place indeed.

After the shower, Mom and I went back to her house. I got my hair cut. I stopped by the bank to make a deposit via the ATM, but there were no deposit envelopes! Grrr. Then I went home. I got there right around 6 pm.

While I was gone, Ray took Alex to softball practice then they (and Phoebe) went out to lunch. I’m still not sure what all else they did, but I can say with certainty that homework was not one of them. Not when Alex was upset at 10 pm because “she forgot” about an assignment that was due Monday. Due to this, she was up past midnight (never EVER a good thing on a school night).

It was a pretty good day regardless of the ending.
