I keep forgetting about the “Asides” over here! Phoebe just yawned, picked up her little green train case, stated she was tired (through another yawn) and proceeded to go to bed! Miracle? We’ll see.

Alex retrieved Rob’s drum set so that she could use them.

Phoebe seems to really have taken a liking to drumming. Every day since we got them and set them up, she has been going in there and playing them. Honestly, she doesn’t sound bad! Being 4 though, she still has a lot of time to hone her skills.

Yesterday, and again today, I was serenaded. She would go in, sit down, “adjust” things and clear her throat. She then picks up the sticks, raises them over her head and taps them together as she shouts: “one, two three!” and begins her drum solo. While singing. I’m not sure what exactly she is singing. Either something she’s made up or pieces of a million different songs that she is stringing together. All whilst drumming.

It seems we might have a rock band in the making. Now, if they can learn to drum well, and if someone can learn how to play that acoustic guitar hanging on Alex’s bedroom wall, we might just have something!
