This afternoon we ventured over to the University.

Alex had been taking the Saturday Morning Art Class (SmART) there for the past two months or so. Today was their exhibition of all the projects that they had completed over the course of the, well, course.

At the end of the open house today, we were able to collect all of her things to take home. Each class had also created a group project which was raffled off at the end of the exhibition. Alex’s friend that she was taking the class with actually won it! It was all very exciting.

There were some very impressive projects that the kids had completed. The kids are all divided into age group classes. Alex’s class was ages 12-14, I believe. I know that Alex will not be taking the spring term of this class if only because she will be so utterly busy at that time.
